DIED: PICKEREL In Felton, Nov 10, William W. Pickerel a native of Rush Co. Indiana Age 53 years- Late a member of Company F 7th Iowa Infantry.
WW Pickerel died Friday at his home on Felton road. He was a native of Indiana and aged 55 years. He served through the war with Co. F., Seventh Iowa Infantry, and fought at the battle of Belmont, which was Gen. Grant's first battle. He was a member of the W.H.L. Wallace Post.

Members of the Grand Army of the Republic carried the remains of William W. Pickerel, of Felton, an old soldier and a hard working man, to the last resting place Sunday, to where war's alarms will no longer be heard and the forest giant remains undisturbed.
