DIED: PATTERSON - In Santa Cruz Sept. 16th Myron S. Patterson, a native of Ohio aged 65 years and 7 days.

Friends and acquaintance of the deceased are respectfully invited to attend his funeral tomorrow Saturday Sept. 18th at 2 o'clock PM from his late residence 324 Mission St. Interment at I.O.O.F. Cemetery

M.S. Patterson Died Thursday

Myron S. Patterson, well known in this city where was for a long time engaged in business as a carpenter and contractor, died of heart trouble at his home on Mission St., at an early hour Thursday morning. He had been complaining for two years and had been confined to his home since the first of January.

Mr. Patterson came to Santa Cruz in 1873 from Ohio, his native State and was 65 yeas old. He has always made his home in this city with the exception of a few years when he was employed at the navy yard at Vallejo.

The deceased for a long time lived with his family at the old Patterson home at the corner of Lincoln St. and Chestnut Av., but that place was sold and he has been living at his new home at 324 Mission St. for the past two years.

The deceased was an old soldier, a member of the San Lorenzo Lodge. No. 147, I.O.O.F., and of Avalon Lodge No. 89, K. of P.

He leaves a wife, a son, John, the City Plumbing Inspector, and a step son Will Davis.
