DIED: At the Watsonville hospital, December 4, 1918 A. Moore, beloved father of A.C. Moore, of Hollister; E.S. Moore, of Gault; E.G. Moore, of Sonoma; Mrs. A.S. Brewster, of Corralitos; Mrs. A.C. College of Gault, Mrs.. Ida Thompson, of Fruitvale; Mrs. Mabel DeVoe, of Felton; and Mr. Salinda Horn of San Jose. A native of Maine 84 years and 10 months.

Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from Burland's undertaking parlors, east Lake Ave., on Saturday December 6, 1919 at 11 a.m. Interment at I.O.O.F. cemetery.

Passing of Alfred Moore

Alfred Moore, of Corralitos, passed at the Watsonville hospital last night after a brief illness with pneumonia. He was 84 years of age at the time of his death and had many friends in this locality who will mourn his loss. He was a member of the local G.A.R.

For some time he had been living with his daughter, Mrs. A.S. Brewster of Corralitos, who with her brother, B. Moore, of Emmett, San Benito county, were at the bedside.

Years ago deceased was a rancher at Emmett, San Benito county, and highly esteemed in that county. He was a kindly retiring gentleman; and , in his day a hard worker.
