DIED: MILLER- at Yountville Feb 26th, Frank B Miller, aged about 72. Funeral of the deceased will be held from C.C. Chase Undertaking parlors this Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock.

Old Soldier Dead

Franklin B. Miller, a Civil war veteran died at the Soldiers' Home at Yountville yesterday morning to which place he was taken last Saturday by; H.A. Wagner. The body will be received by C.C. Chase, the funeral to be under the auspices of the G.A.R.

Francis B. Miller [Franklin Miller] died in Napa County, CA at the Veterans Home in Yountville on February 26, 1917, where he had been a resident for 14 years. He was listed as a widower, and was 69 yrs, 9 mos., and 26 days old having been born on April 30, 1847. His father was Martin Miller, a resident of Ohio, and his mother was listed as Mary E. Cummings, a resident of Indiana. His death was attributed to "Psoriasis; Exhaustion Contributory" by the attending physician Zesah, A.H. M. The undertaker in Yountville was W.E. Clark. He was buried in SCruz/OMP Cemetery in Santa Cruz California.
