Funeral of deceased will be held at Episcopal church today at 2 PM . Friends and acquaintances are invited to be present. Interment at Mount Olivet cemetery. Please omit flowers.
Daniel McLellan Old-Time Resident
Dan McLellan, for many years a resident of this county, who has been ill for some time, died on Sunday evening at his Myrtle street home.
Mr. McLellan was a Canadian by birth and was one of the early settlers on the Ben Lomond mountain and had a farm at Bonny Doon, where he was known by all of those living on the mountains.
After coming from the mountain with his family he was engaged for a time in transfer work, and of late years has been in the cigar business. He made many friends and is survived by his wife and three children, all of whom reside in Santa Cruz. The children are Rose G. McLellan, Ed McLellan and Harry McLellan.
The funeral arrangements have not yet been made.

Funeral of Dan McLellan
The funeral service over the late Daniel McLellan will be held this afternoon at two o'clock from Calvary church. The deceased was a native of Sherbrooke, Canada, and was 76 years of age. He was the beloved husband of Lyda McLellan, father of Harry S., Edwin D., Rose G. McLellan and W.G.; H.D. and Chas Cutrell. He was an old resident of Santa Cruz. He passed away Sunday evening after a long illness.
Mr. McLellan was an old soldier, having served two years in the 4th regiment of Massachusetts cavalry. He lived in Santa Cruz for over 50 years.
