DIED: McEwing: At Seabright, Jan 16th, Robert McEwing a native of Scotland aged 80 years 8 months.

The funeral will take place from the late residence of the deceased at Seabright today (Friday) at 2 o'clock PM under the auspices of the G.A.R. Members of the G.A.R. and old veterans are requested to meet at their headquarters at one o'clock to attend the funeral.

The late Robert McEwing was a veteran of the Civil War having served in a Michigan regiment. He came to Santa Cruz ten years ago, having previously been engaged in farming in Oregon. He leaves four sons and one daughter.
