B.C. Kuder, 91, is Summoned
Death summoned Benjamin C. Kuder, ninety-one years of age this morning at his home at 106 Younglove avenue. He suffered a severe stroke a few days ago.
Mr. Kuder came to Santa Cruz from Wilson, Kansas, more than twenty years ago and was well known to many old time residents. He was a real estate operator for many years here.
Surviving him are his widow [Mary], a step daughter, Mrs. Hunter, and a stepson, W. H. Sherer, photographer of Santa Cruz, and three daughters, Mrs. Ella Howard of Los Angeles, Mrs. Emma Wolfe of Salina, Kansas, and Mrs. Nancy Atchinson of Chico.
The remains are at the Chase mortuary. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.

DIED: KUDER- In Santa Cruz, Nov. 16, Benjamin C. Kuder, a native of Iowa; aged 91 years 5 months and 7 days.
The funeral of the deceased will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the chapel of Chase's mortuary. Interment in I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends and acquaintances are invited to attend.
Santa Cruz Sentinel (November 21, 1928)
Funeral services were held yesterday at the chapel of Chase's mortuary for Benjamin Kuder. The services were conducted by Rev. Frank Woten of the Garfield Park Christian church.
The hymns, “Jesus Lover of My Soul" and Rock of Ages," were sung by Rev. and Mrs. Woten and the G.A.R. services were in charge of Wallace Reynolds Post, G.A.R.
The burial was at Odd Fellows cemetery.
