Santa Cruz Surf (April 27, 1909)Death of W.H. Kerrick
William Henry Kerrick, father of W.O. Kerrick died this morning at the Hanley Sanitarium after an illness of some duration. He had been at the sanitarium for two weeks.
The deceased, if he lived until next June 29, would have been 67 years of age. He was a native of Indiana and came here three years ago from Minnesota, and has resided on a farm on Soquel road.
The deceased leaves two sons W.O. of Santa Cruz, and Fred B. of Oakland, and 2 daughters; Mrs. Myrtle Efmean of Oakland, and Mrs. Blanche Schroeder of Ft. Collins Colorado.

The funeral of the deceased will take place tomorrow (Thursday.) from the Pacific Coast Undertaking parlors. All members of the G.A.R. and friends and acquaintances are invited to attend.

The funeral services over the late W.H. Kerrick were held this afternoon at Pacific Coast Undertaking parlors and were conducted by Rev. E.C. Philleo of the Presbyterian church.
