DIED VISALIA: December 14th, E.P. Jenkins Jr., a native of Massachusetts aged 47 years.

Santa Cruz Sentinel (December [?] 1891)

E.P. Jenkins, Jr., son of E.P Jenkins, of this place, died at Visalia on the 14th inst., and his remains were interred here on Saturday last. The deceased was a resident of Washington, and had left his wife at Tacoma and had gone to Visalia in search of employment. When taken sick he was a stranger in the town, but when his membership in the Grand Army of the Republic was discovered the veterans of Visalia soon took an interest in him and did everything possible for his relief.
