New Resident Has Passed Away
Alonzo W. Grow, who has resided in Santa Cruz for the past two years passed away at his home on the eastside about 11:30 o'clock last night. He had reached the ripe old age of 79 last February. He has been ill since last February and has been under the constant care of a trained attendant all during that time.
Mr. Grow is survived by his wife and a daughter Minnie L Budge of Oakland. The remains are at the parlors of C.C. Chase. The deceased was a native of New York.

Funeral of deceased will be held from the late residence, 248 Pine St. this Wednesday at 2:30 o'clock P.M. Friends and acquaintances are invited to attend. Civil War veterans especially invited.

Funeral of Late Alonzo Grow
The funeral services of the late Alonzo Grow were held yesterday afternoon from his late residence on Pine Street where he died Monday night and where friends and Civil War veterans gathered for the service.
The burial service was conducted by Dr. B.M. Palmer of the Congregational church.
