Another old soldier, a veteran of the Civil War has passed away in the person of Thomas S. Ganoe who died Wednesday morning at his home on Chestnut Av. at the advanced age of four score and four years. He was a native of Utica, NY He had resided here a number of years and was highly respected.
DIED: GANOE in Santa Cruz May 20, Thomas Ganoe aged 84 years a native of NY.
Funeral will be held Today May 20th at 11 AM at the San Jose Undertaking Parlors, San Jose.

Mrs. Julia Ganoe Dies at Hospital
Mrs. Julia A. Ganoe, wife of the late Thomas Ganoe, passed away at a local hospital after an illness of long duration. Her husband, the late Thos Ganoe, was a veteran of the Civil War and passed away in this city about five years ago.
Mrs. Ganoe leaves two children, Earl Ganoe of Oregon, and Harry Ganoe, who is located in Watsonville. The deceased was 85 years of age and a native of New York.
Funeral arrangements will be made after the arrival of the eldest son from Oregon.
