Funeral Saturday for Chas. Galletly

Funeral services for Charles Galletly, who died early this morning at his home in the Carlton district, will be held Saturday at 2 o'clock at Aston & Neal's Funeral Home. Interment will take place in the Watsonville I.O.O.F. cemetery.

Mr. Galletly had lived in the Carlton district for the last 45 years. He was a native of Scotland and was 93 years of age. He came to California from Kansas.

Besides his widow, Elizabeth Galletly, the deceased is survived by sons, Duff Galletly, and two grand children, Velma and Doris Galletly.

He was a member of the R.L. McCook post, G.A.R.., a charter member of Konockti tribe, Improved Order of Red Men. Mr. Galletly was an upright, honorable man whose sterling characteristics made him friends everywhere. He was one of the early day settlers in this valley, and always accounted one of our leading citizens.

His death, although not unexpected owing to his advanced age, will be deplored by a wide circle of friends and acquaintances.

Funeral Held For Charles Galletly

Funeral services for the late Charles Galletly who died at his home here Wednesday were held at the Aston Neal's Funeral Home. There was a large attendance of friends and acquaintances of the bereaved family and many beautiful flowers.

The services were conducted by the Rev. E.C. Philo of the First Presbyterian Church. Music was provided by Mrs. Pearl McFarlane and Mrs. Anderson.

Interment took place in the Watsonville I.O.O.F. cemetery. The pallbearers were Orin Eaton, Roy Eaton, Robert Eaton, L.S. Alexander, C.R. Hushbeck, and James Cottrell.
