Michael Fahy Dies at 85 Years

Michael Fahy, retired, who has resided for a number of years at 36 Laveaga St., died on Sunday at the family residence.

He had lived to the good old age of 85 years, and was born in Ireland.

He is survived by a family.

The body is at Chase's mortuary.

DIED: FAHY- in Santa Cruz, April 18, 1928, Michael Fahy, and aged 85 years, 6 months, 1 day. A native of Ireland.

Funeral services will be held at the Chase mortuary today at 2 PM. Friends and acquaintances are invited to attend. Interment in SCruz/OMP cemetery. Members of G.A.R., W.R.C. and Daughters of Veterans are especially invited.

Funeral services over Michael Fahy were held yesterday afternoon at the chapel of Chase's mortuary with many members of the G.A.R., Woman's Relief Corps and Daughters of Veterans of the Civil War present.

The service was conducted by the Rev. W.H.D. Hornaday of the East Side Methodist church and the hymns "Abide With Me" and "Some Time We'll Understand" were sung by the Rev. Mr. Hornaday and E. Leedham with Mr. Leedham at the piano.

The burial was at SCruz/OMP cemetery.
