Mr. John Salisbury Dingman died last night at Soquel. The deceased was 79 years, 9 mo of age, and a native of N.Y.

Old Soldier Dies at Soquel
John Salisbury Dinwell (Dingman), who recently came from Bakersfield with his son-in-law John Conrad, and who took up his residence on Soquel Creek where the latter purchased a ranch, died Tuesday morning of dropsical heart disease. Mr. Dingwell was an old soldier and had been an inmate of the Sawtelle Soldiers Home, where his body will be shipped for interment.
He was 79 years of age at the time of his death and had only been a resident of Soquel about 3 months.
