DIED: DICKERMAN Near Point New Year, June 23d Ed Dickerman a native of Vt. aged 67 years.

Ed Dickerman Dead

Ed Dickerman, who is pretty well known in Santa Cruz by many of our older residents, visiting this city from his ranch on Waddell Creek in San Mateo County, died at his home on Sunday morning from cirrhosis of the liver from which he had been a sufferer for some weeks and which confined him to his bed.

The deceased was a veteran of the Civil War, and a member of Wallace-Reynolds Post, a number of whose members will go the ranch and hold services over the remains this morning at 11 o'clock.

After the services the remains will be taken to Cypress Lawn for cremation.

Dickerman was a whole souled Democratic sort of gentleman, was well liked, and probably didn't have an enemy, and his taking away will be missed by many a friend.
