Old Soldier Dies
At the Ripe Old Age of 84

Miles Lafayette Crossett died yesterday evening at the home of his son in law Mr. O. Sevey. He was 84 years old and an old soldier. Funeral of the deceased will take place from his late residence at Schwann Station tomorrow afternoon.

The funeral of the late Miles L. Crossett was held from the house of his daughter Mrs. O. Sevey Sunday and was conducted under the direction of Rev. J.B. Orr of the Congregational Church assisted by Rev. J.C. Bolster.

Mr. J. Williams and Miss Anna Linscott rendered hymns "Safe With My Master", and "Come Ye Disconsolate".

The funeral was attended in a body by the Wallace-Reynolds Post G.A.R.
