Santa Cruz Sentinel (November 24, 1900)

DIED: In Santa Cruz, Nov. 23rd, W.C. Chapman a native of Ohio aged 81 years

W.C. Chapman died Friday morning in East Santa Cruz. He came to California in early days. For many years he was engaged in farming in this county. Soon after arriving in California his first wife died, and then he married again, his second wife passing away a year ago.

The funeral of W.C. Chapman will be in the charge of members of the Grand Army. The father of the deceased was a veteran of the War of 1812.
