DIED: AUSTIN, in Watsonville Jan 27, W.H. Austin aged 60 years.

Watsonville Pajaronian (February 1, 1900)

W.H. Austin died last Saturday morning at the home of his son in this city and was buried Sunday afternoon, the funeral being conducted by the Knights of Pythias. He was a native of Connecticut and was in his 90th year. He was a veteran of the Civil War, and soon after its close came to this valley. He lived here a few years and then moved to Santa Barbara County. He returned to Watsonville last year.
