Board delays patron suspension changes
Proposed patron policy allows staff to suspend a patron for over a year for violation of their policies
- Ban the use of the library for sleeping
- Clarify provisions for animals that provide emotional support to patrons
- Updated the language on a flier that is handed out to patrons with strong odors:
- one side urges them to leave
- other side gives resources on shower facilities at Homeless Services Center
- new language tells the person their odor is a "violation of our rules of conduct"
