Supervisors redraw district lines in split vote

Santa Cruz Supervisors redraw the five supervisorial district boundaries with a final vote of 3-2. In addition to Supervisors Jan Beautz and Bay Belgard, members of Pajaro Valley's Hispanic community opposed the final plan.
