Cornerstone gets new home
Cornerstone was preserved because it was part of the original Carnegie Library in Watsonville in 1905
- Has the words "a gift from Andrew Carnegie" on it
- Contained a metal box which held coins from 1905 and papers listing the names of the library's trustees
- Contained the charter for the Watsonville Woman's Club, which is credited with helping create the library
Cornerstone is now at the Pajaro Valley Historical Association
