Library Board Backs Neighborhood Branches
Members of Library Joint Powers Authority made it clear they would not advocate for complete branch closures to wage the gap in the budget deficit
- Agree that "sharing the pain" across all branches was the better option compared to some branches being closed and inoperative
- They want to ensure that neighborhoods can still have their own branches open, even if it is for less hours per week
