Santa Cruz Roller Palladium

Landmark Photo Project

1606 Seabright Avenue

The Palladium had its grand opening on Nov. 30, 1950.
Denny and Heddy Sargeant, who operated a hot dog stand on Pacific Avenue, decided to construct the rink's floor with maple wood at a cost of $10,000,
Diane and Rick Ethrington took over the facility in 1986.

The "Wall of Courage" mural was painted in April 2000. This was a Jacob's Heart project, with children with cancer drawing images of courage.
