This article and photo describe Scotts Valley firefighter’s successful efforts to contain a fire in the abandoned Santa’s Village theme park. Altogether 10 engines and 30 firefighters responded to the fire that destroyed the historic ticket office. The fire is described as suspicious because there were no known occupants on the premises and no power or gas to the building.
