A zoo was once a feature of the Pacheco area of DeLaveaga Park beginning around 1912. Some of the animals included in the zoo were buffalo, elk, deer and a bear. It was closed by the Parks and Recreation Commission in 1933.

The Cement Ship, originally the Palo Alto, with fishermen on the Seacliff Pier next to it. In 1965 the ship was sold to the State of California for $1.00 and incorporated into Seacliff State Beach.
