Linda and Sam Hardman were residents of Santa Cruz in 1989, and moved to Tehachapi after; Linda was at her work in Scotts Valley, and Sam at his work in Menlo Park when the earthquake struck. In this interview, the couple describe their experience, Linda’s PTSD, and her later study of geology.
